RETIREMENT CLEARANCES AND
STATEMENT OF GSIS CONTRIBUTIONS


Effective immediately and for the purpose of completing the requirements for
filing an application for retirement, the clearance issued to an employee at
his last place of assignment or station shall suffice as substantial compliance,
provided that appropriate clearances have been issued to him by all Offices
where he was previously assigned.

In like manner, all Regional, Provincial and Central Office Accountants should
be ready to provide retiring employees statement of GSIS contributions,
when the need for it arises.
