INSTRUCTIONS:

VI. For personnel in uniform, short firearm shall be placed in a holster securely
secured to the belt. Personnel in uniform without holster or personnel in
civilian attire should carry said firearm/s in attache case or similar secured
hand luggage. The tucking of short firearm/s is prohibited, except for close-
in security for VIP’s or when the nature of the mission so requires.

VII. The carrying of any firearm/s is prohibited in places where people gather for
political, religious, social, educational and recreational purposes such as
churches or chapels, carnival grounds or fairs, night clubs, cabarets, discos
dancing places and halls, during festivals and other celebrations, drinking
places, theaters, movie houses, cockpits, racetracks and the like, except
when personnel concerned is on official mission in such places for which
he was authorized to carry firearms.

VIII When Duty Detail Order is requested for verification by the enforcement units/
personnel such as the PNP, Military Police Brigade and/or other Military
Police Units of the AFP, this Duty Detail Order should be shown immediately
and without resentment to avoid misunderstanding.

IX The unauthorized firing/discharge of firearm shall be subjected to extreme
administrative/criminal sanctions as well as automatic cancellation
of this Duty Detail Order.

X Additional Instruction: TO COORDINATE WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
AGENCIES AND RETURN TO STATION UPON ACCOMPLISHMENT OF MISSION.


This is to certify that I have read and fully understood and shall obey the above
instructions without any reservation whatsoever and that I shall further obey
all lawful orders and directives duly issued by my superior officer/s in connection
with this Duty Detail Order.
